Town of saints signs to Snowstar Records!!!
We’re very delighted to announce that we have signed with the awesome Snowstar Records in the Netherlands. We will release our debut album with them on October 4th. In the meantime we will release this previously unreleased track on their compilation CD which is due to come out on Record Store Day!
Oh joy, happiness and everything else! We’re very much looking forward to working with these guys in the future and do lot’s of beautiful things together.

A grant to go into Germany!
Wow! We just received some amazing news! Through our dear friends and bookers at Wishfulmusic.nl, we got a grant from the dutch Fund of Performing Arts to go on tour in Germany! This means that all travel costs our whole upcoming tour in Germany are payed by the fund, which saves us a lot of stress and energy about actually making some money with touring and having a decent car with us :)
We are incredibly happy they give us this chance, and we hope to see you somewhere along the way, dear people! You can find the tour dates under the tab ‘On Tour’. A lot of love to you and yours! :)

Last Saturday we were guest at NCRV’s Music Matters, at the Dutch national music channel Radio 2. We played some live songs in their studio and did a really nice interview with Sander Guis. Lovely day it was!

Wow! What a week we had… It was crazy and beautiful! Eurosonic Noorderslag is one of the best festivals in Europe, and it was an absolute honour to play there, especially as many times as we did!

Kindamuzik (Eurosonic)
Het drietal speelt een innemende set, die alleen al overtuigt vanwege het plezier waarmee ze op het podium staan. De sfeervolle folkliedjes doen denken aan een band als Fleet Foxes, maar ze zijn pittiger door stevig drumwerk en flink wat effecten op de gitaar. Het mooie vioolwerk en de enthousiaste zang maken het plaatje compleet.

Filunder: New Music (Noorderslag)
Het eerste hoogtepunt van de avond is Town of Saints. Hun indiefolk doet bij tijd en wijle aan The Arcade Fire denken. Een grote naam, maar die mag bij Town of Saints gebruikt worden. Dit is heel erg goed!

Vrolijk, energiek en door de charmante frontman heeft Town Of Saints naast goede liedjes ook een hoge gunfactor. Begonnen als straatmuzikanten en opgewerkt tot spelen voor bobo’s op Noorderslag is een jongensboek. Gegarandeerd gaat het publiek met een tevreden gevoel naar huis na het horen van Town of Saints.

Wat een sympathieke band is dit zeg! Je geeft deze half-akoestische punk-folk meteen het voordeel van alle twijfel, dit is op afstand de band met de hoogste gunfactor. Town of Saints speelt een thuiswedstrijd en pakt het zaaltje lekker in.
